Tim Fleming, 4th Report
MILLIONS of Dollars in Political Consulting Work; Hundreds of Thousands More Likely with Lobbying
I’ve previously written about Tim Fleming in the 1st Report, 2nd Report & 3rd Report.
However, I did not fully grasp the magnitude of the money involved with Fleming’s political consulting work in those earlier pieces.
Compliments of the Georgia United Victory (GUV), a PAC, Mr. Fleming’s LLC made over $2 million in 2020.
Per my understanding, much of this was for everybody’s favorite — political texts; however, questions have arisen as to whether or not the work paid for was actually done as several well-known politicos throughout the state have publicly stated as such.
One year. Over $2 million. Let that sink in.
For some of you who I spoke to after a previous report who said that Tim had told you my numbers were wrong, he was probably struggling not to laugh as my numbers were wrong — they were way, way, way TOO LOW.
This is incontrovertible, verifiable fact. Remember — there’s only one set of facts.
Here it is, in black & white.
Here’s the GA SOS’s public listing on The Jackson Advisory Group
The most challenging part of researching Tim’s multi-million dollar influence peddling scheme has been actually finding the numbers. Sure, any payouts from government entities, political campaigns & PACs can be traced & found out but it is not easy. However, a lot of times, a political consultant for their firm can be a secondary consultant, meaning they are getting paid from another entity & those numbers can’t be traced. And naturally, money coming from private entities or companies are also unavailable.
However, as we switch gears over Tim’s Lobbying & Swamping racket, we did have one government organization that was on Tim’s list — The Camden Co BOC.
Below, is a payout from last July to another of Tim’s LLCs — Live Oak Public Strategies - for $7500.
However, these are monthly payments that began in February 2021 as per the AJC:
Within the past year, the county has picked up two lobbyists who formerly worked in Gov. Brian Kemp’s office — former chief of staff Tim Fleming and former deputy chief of staff Charlie Harper.
Camden County has paid Live Oak Public Strategies, a lobbying company registered to Fleming and Harper, $7,500 a month since February. The county has spent about $10 million trying to get the project approved since 2015."
And based on the report in my hands, those monthly payments are still continuing. So just from Camden Co., Live Oak has already hit $100,000.
No available data can be found for the money involved with Fleming’s other lobbying clients other than the fact that they paid out at least $10,000. So, a conservative estimate to me would be at least a couple hundred thousand dollars in the last two years.
So, just add that to the $2 million plus all of the other money I’ve previously reported
I still can’t believe some of you people still have his yard signs up. Well, actually, I can. For a few of you, you think you’re hitching your wagon to a winner so you can get something out of it. You people make me sick…
But, I know for a fact that a fair number of you almost feel like you have to & are afraid that if you didn’t support him he’d make trouble for you down the road. Yeah, that’s kind of how he rolls, it seems.
Sad.
Just remember: you can have his sign in your yard but you don’t have to vote for him & I know a few of you are doing exactly that.
At least two more reports to go.
